Gisele Benson  Director of Client Services & First Impressions

As the longest tenured employee of SHP Financial, and with over 30 years of banking experience, Gisele Benson has significantly contributed to the growth of the company since 2006.  She manages the day to day operations, including corporate contracting and licensing, as well as servicing established SHP clients.

One of her many responsibilities include cultivating long lasting client relationships by offering first class support and customer service. Being bilingual in Spanish, Gisele has also assisted SHP in growing their diverse cliental. She is also involved in the processing and tracking of Structured Settlement Investments for new and existing clients.

Gisele is integral in managing SHP’S “Client Experience”- playing a key role in welcoming clients and prospective clients into our Plymouth home office and maximizing the optimum client experience while delivering an understanding of the core mission of SHP Financial.

Gisele resides in Plymouth with her husband, Tim, and they are very proud of their two grown children.  Their daughter, Nicole, is a registered nurse living in Marblehead with her husband Jay.  Their son, Greg, is a Project Analyst in the construction industry residing in Washington, DC.  Gisele enjoys traveling, boating and spending time with family and friends.





Michelle Short – Director of Operations

Michelle Short joined SHP in 2014.  Michelle runs the client relations division at SHP Financial.  She manages all Contact Management Database Systems as well as strategically organize all client and prospective client meetings amongst the three partners. Michelle oversees and manages the organization’s current clientele as well as prospective clients to implement on-going support of all client communications from radio programs and various lead flow avenues.  Michelle works closely with the organization’s three Partners to enhance each client relationship, maintain touch points, and improve customer service.

Michelle comes to SHP Financial with significant experience in client services management and has been successfully leading teams since 2005.   Most recently she held a position as Senior Vice President at a Boston Based Employee benefit Consulting firm responsible for Client Services, HR, Marketing, Office Management, Technology and Executive Office.

Michelle resides in Carver with her husband Greg and her daughter Reese. She enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.




Becky Levesque  Director of Marketing 

As the Director of Marketing, Becky Levesque is responsible for overseeing SHP Financial’s marketing strategy, including the management and implementation of various branding and advertising initiatives, lead generation, tracking and analysis .  She is also responsible for coordinating all of SHP’s events, including our Educational Workshops and  Client Appreciation Events. Prior to joining SHP Financial in January of 2014, Becky was a Co-founder and CEO of a successful, full service Advertising Agency, providing strategies for company CEO’s to develop and promote their brand and increase their profitability. She has over 12 years of experience in the Marketing and Communications industry.

Rebecca received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1998. Majoring in Journalism and Legal Studies, she was the recipient of the prestigious Kathryn F. Furcolo award for Outstanding Public Service Internship, and was honored to have been selected for membership into the Kappa Tau Alpha Journalism Honor Society for outstanding academic excellence.

When not at work, you can often find Becky at various political events throughout the South Coast, as she is currently serving a four-year term as the Republican State Committeewoman for the 1st Bristol & Plymouth Senate District, elected in March 2012 to represent Republicans in her District at the State Party level. Rebecca also enjoys snowboarding, boating, jet skiing and spending time with her family on Long Pond in Freetown.


Katie Deveney – Director of Business Transfer and Service

Katie joined SHP Financial in October 2014 as our Director of Business Transfer and Service. Katie’s role at SHP Financial is to support the addition of investment and money management advisory services to their existing suite of financial services. She works with Clients as they join the SHP Family to ensure that all paperwork is completed and in the proper order, accounts are established, and transfers are processed expediently. In addition, since each income plan is tailored individually, Katie ensures that all of the payments are received in a timely fashion.


Katie holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business management from Bridgewater State University, graduating  cum laude.  She comes to SHP Financial with experience in the Finance and Insurance industries. Most recently, Katie worked at a Capital Management firm where she held a position in Client Relations. There she served as a primary contact for clients, assisting with complete estate & financial analysis and planning. Katie also has past experience working for an Employee Benefits Consulting firm, where she held positions in both Client Services and Client Management.


Katie resides in Kingston. She enjoys the beach and boating during the summer, skiing and taking warm vacations over the winter, and spending time with family and friends.


Leanne Phillips– Marketing Coordinator

Leanne recently joined the team of SHP Financial in 2014 as Marketing Coordinator. In her role, she supports various functions such as lead processing and tracking, client management analysis, the coordinating of events, as well as other marketing and promotional activities.

Leanne comes to SHP Financial with over 12 years of Marketing experience mostly working for global leaders in the Diagnostic and Pharmaceutical industries. Her most recent experience was that of Marketing and Client Relations Manager for an oncology business unit managing and executing multi-media marketing campaigns using various strategies including web-based promotion. Leanne also has extensive experience in product branding and positioning, event management, marketing communications as well as customer support services. Leanne received her Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1998, majoring in Marketing.

Leanne resides on the south shore with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking and traveling to new places. She also has a passion for portrait sketching and taking time to volunteer when possible in her children’s schools.


Tasha Smith – Client Services Representative

Tasha Smith is responsible for guiding prospective clients through the process of meeting our Partners. She has joined SHP in October 2014. Her role is to ensure that the prospective client experience with SHP Financial is at the highest level of quality.  She speaks with inquiries from our Contact Management Database and qualifies them to come in and assess their financial situation to see if SHP Financial will be a good fit. She reaches out to prospective clients to ensure they have received the necessary information to warrant an easy understanding of what to expect.

Tasha brings with her over 12 years of client relations, telecommunications and marketing experience. Prior to SHP, she was a Senior Recruiter and Client Relations Manager for leading National HR firm.  She specialized in physician recruitment, client management, contract negotiations and marketing. In addition to placing top notch physicians in our area, Tasha built and maintained long lasting client relationships with major Hospitals Systems, Elite Academic Institutions and Private Practices throughout New England.

Tasha resides in Weymouth with her husband Paul and their son Brody. She has a strong passion for art and interior design. She spends a lot of time with family and friends but also enjoys outdoor activities and visiting museums.
