Gisele Benson – Director of Client Services & First Impressions
As the longest tenured employee of SHP Financial, and with over 30 years of banking experience, Gisele Benson has significantly contributed to the growth of the company since 2006. She manages the day to day operations, including corporate contracting and licensing, as well as servicing established SHP clients.
One of her many responsibilities include cultivating long lasting client relationships by offering first class support and customer service. Being bilingual in Spanish, Gisele has also assisted SHP in growing their diverse cliental. She is also involved in the processing and tracking of Structured Settlement Investments for new and existing clients.
Gisele is integral in managing SHP’S “Client Experience”- playing a key role in welcoming clients and prospective clients into our Plymouth home office and maximizing the optimum client experience while delivering an understanding of the core mission of SHP Financial.
Gisele resides in Plymouth with her husband, Tim, and they are very proud of their two grown children. Their daughter, Nicole, is a registered nurse living in Marblehead with her husband Jay. Their son, Greg, is a Project Analyst in the construction industry residing in Washington, DC. Gisele enjoys traveling, boating and spending time with family and friends.
Mary Beth Hartnett – Director of Business Transfer & Service
Mary Beth Hartnett joined a growing SHP Financial late in 2012 to help support the addition of investment and money management advisory services to their existing suite of financial services. On a daily basis, she works with Clients as they join the SHP Family to ensure that all paperwork is completed and in the proper order, accounts are established correctly, and transfers are processed expediently. Mary Beth is in charge of filtering and tracking new leads within the New England area pertaining to the Junior Advisors. In addition, since each income plan is tailored individually, Mary Beth ensures that all of the payments are received on time and accurately. She graduated from the University of Hartford in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. After graduation, she worked for Investment Technology Group in Boston’s South End, where she worked in the Operations Department supporting CEO’s and General Managers. Currently Mary Beth lives in Kingston, Ma. She enjoys summers on Duxbury Beach, boating and spending time with family and friends.
Michelle Short – Director of Operations
Michelle Short joined SHP in 2014. Michelle runs the client relations division at SHP Financial. She manages all Contact Management Database Systems as well as strategically organize all client and prospective client meetings amongst the three partners. Michelle oversees and manages the organization’s current clientele as well as prospective clients to implement on-going support of all client communications from radio programs and various lead flow avenues. Michelle works closely with the organization’s three Partners to enhance each client relationship, maintain touch points, and improve customer service.
Michelle comes to SHP Financial with significant experience in client services management and has been successfully leading teams since 2005. Most recently she held a position as Senior Vice President at a Boston Based Employee benefit Consulting firm responsible for Client Services, HR, Marketing, Office Management, Technology and Executive Office.
Michelle resides in Carver with her husband Greg and her daughter Reese. She enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Becky Levesque – Director of Marketing
As the Director of Marketing, Becky Levesque is responsible for overseeing SHP Financial’s marketing strategy, including the management and implementation of various branding and advertising initiatives, lead generation, tracking and analysis . She is also responsible for coordinating all of SHP’s events, including our Educational Workshops and Client Appreciation Events. Prior to joining SHP Financial in January of 2014, Becky was the founder and CEO of a successful, full service Advertising Agency, providing strategies for company CEO’s to develop and promote their brand and increase their profitability. She has over 12 years of experience in the Marketing and Communications industry.
Rebecca received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1998. Majoring in Journalism and Legal Studies, she was the recipient of the prestigious Kathryn F. Furcolo award for Outstanding Public Service Internship, and was honored to have been selected for membership into the Kappa Tau Alpha Journalism Honor Society for outstanding academic excellence.
When not at work, you can often find Becky at various political events throughout the South Coast, as she is currently serving a four-year term as the Republican State Committeewoman for the 1st Bristol & Plymouth Senate District, elected in March 2012 to represent Republicans in her District at the State Party level. Rebecca also enjoys snowboarding, boating, jet skiing and spending time with her family on Long Pond in Freetown.
